Domis Property Group is one of the biggest development and construction teams in the Manchester area.

With a new and high quality residential development close to Manchester city centre comprising 273 apartments there was a need for temporary site facilities during the construction phase.

Domis called on Pickerings to design and install a temporary modular building with all the necessary facilities needed for a large workforce. Once final instructions were received, Pickerings staff prepared 27 modules at their local hire branch that were delivered and installed on site to ensure facilities were ready for when the first batch of workers arrived.

The result is a three storey modular building with a range of facilities that include; a large open plan project office; meeting room; sub-contractors office; a large canteen in which Domis installed a servery; changing room and separate toilets.

Access to the upper floors is via external steel staircases installed at each end of the building providing clean and dirty entrances to the complex.

The temporary facilities in Manchester will be used on site for around 200 workers during the two-year project.

Pickerings designed and installed a 3 storey modular building to meet our site requirements in Manchester. The building is to a high standard and we would have no hesitation in using Pickerings again.
