Pickerings Prima two-storey modular building
Roseberry Park Hospital is a mental health facility in Middlesbrough run by the Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys Foundation NHS Trust. With a growing workforce in their Estates and Facilities Department there was insufficient welfare facilities on site for staff and sub-contractors. One consideration was to hire a modular building to resolve the space problem especially as this could be ready for use within a quick timescale.
Roseberry Park staff contacted Pickerings at their nearby depot in Middlesbrough to help provide a solution. Following a site survey Pickerings proposed a two-storey Prima modular building with all the necessary amenities to meet the customer’s requirements.
The building modules were quickly being prepared by Pickerings and were soon delivered the short distance to the hospital. After being safely installed by Pickerings experienced installation team the finished building was ready for occupation the next day once mains services had been connected.
The finished solution is a two-storey modular building comprising; open plan rest area; locker room; separate male and female toilets. Access to the upper floor is provided by a steel staircase supplied and fitted by Pickerings.
The standard features of the Pickerings Prima modular building include; “B” rated energy efficiency; double glazed tilt & turn double glazed windows; window shutters; PIR controlled lighting; thermostatically controlled electric heaters; vinyl floor covering.
The modular building provided to Roseberry Park Hospital in Middlesbrough is excellent and perfectly meets our requirements. We are very pleased with the overall service we received from Pickerings.
