Pickerings Awarded Place on New Public Sector Framework

Pickerings, the supplier of high quality portable site accommodation and related services, has been awarded a place on a new framework agreement for the public sector.

The framework is managed by YPO that is 100% owned by 13 local authorities and provides products to schools, local authorities, charities, emergency services, public sector and other businesses. Running until 2024 and having national coverage the framework has an estimated value of up to £15M.

Pickerings was successful in the following lots:

Lot 2: Purchase of site accommodation, storage units & welfare units.

Lot 4: Purchase of modular buildings, mobile classrooms, temporary accommodation & healthcare related modular buildings.

Lot 5: Purchase of portable toilets and toilet blocks.

Lot 7: Purchase of mobile generators.

Lot 8: Purchase of fuel & water storage equipment.

Lot 17: Hire of site accommodation, storage units, welfare units, portable toilets and toilet blocks, mobile generators, fuel and water storage equipment.

Lot 18: Hire of mobile and temporary accommodation mobile classrooms, temporary accommodation and related healthcare modular buildings.

Amongst the benefits to organisations using the framework is that they would not need to run a full OJEU procurement if they procure via the framework agreement which would result in reduced timescales; the assured supplier standards of the framework mean there is no need for “pre-qualified” assessment to be carried out.
