Pickerings Opens New Northampton Depot

Pickerings, the fastest growing provider of modular buildings and portable cabins, has opened a new 4-acre depot in Moulton Park, Northampton. 

The site represents a multi-million pound investment with modern facilities consisting of a newly constructed office and workshop with a large storage yard. The depot is on the site of the former Plastmo plastic goods factory in Lower Farm Road that had stood empty for over 10 years before being demolished. 

The new depot will hold a large stock of the company’s range of portable accommodation to provide a quicker response to customer’s requirements and enable the company to take on more major projects. Pickerings employs 16 full time employees in Northampton and supports local suppliers and trades people. 

Pickerings Managing Director, Neil Moss, said “Our new depot in Northampton is one of several we are opening across the country. We have seen a big rise in demand for our modular buildings and portable accommodation which, we believe, is due to the high quality of our products and customer service.”
