Pickerings Launches Summer Colouring Competition for Children
Pickerings has announced a delightful initiative to engage children during the summer holidays with a vibrant colouring competition. This exciting competition aims to spark creativity and provide a fun-filled activity for children of all ages.
The competition invites young artists to showcase their colouring skills to create a new logo which will represent our Early Years Key Stage 1 / Nursery solutions which will feature in our new Education brochure. The colouring template can be downloaded on this page below.
"We hope that the competition can foster some creativity and provide a meaningful activity for children during the summer break," said Jonathan Mussen, Head of Sales at Pickerings. "This competition is a wonderful way for kids to express themselves artistically while also having the chance to win a fantastic prize."
Participants can submit their finished artwork by either emailing a photo of their coloured templates to marketing@pickeringshire.co.uk or sending their masterpiece to Pickerings' Head Office (Ashby Road, Measham, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE12 7JW) - at your own cost. The competition will run from the 2nd August to the 25th August, giving children ample time to participate and perfect their entries.
A panel of judges, will review the entries and select a winner based on creativity, colour usage, and overall presentation. The winner will be announced on Tuesday 27th August, with the prizes including a £100 gift vouchers for W H Smith to spend on back-to-school supplies and their logo featuring in our new Education brochure.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to share their children’s progress on social media using the hashtag #PickeringsColoringComp. This will not only create a sense of community but also allow participants to see and appreciate each other's work.
